They may be helpful where extra support is needed with day-to-day medicines, but not all medicines are suitable for trays.

Medication trays are not suitable for every person or every medicine.
Before starting a tray service, we assess the patient’s needs and the medicines involved. Some items may still need to be supplied in original packs because of stability, packaging, formulation or other clinical considerations.
Our aim is to provide medicines support that is safe, practical and appropriate for the individual patient or care setting.
